Every Young Person deserves a strong foundation for their future

Aktiv Fun has been supporting children, young people and families since 2008.
What began from a genuine passion for nurturing and caring for young people has grown into an after-school care service focused on giving children enjoyable, enriching and varied experiences.
We believe children benefit from having opportunities to explore beyond one setting. Our approach makes use of suitable local community spaces and facilities, including libraries, parks and play zones, alongside creative, educational and practical activities.
Our experienced and caring team supports children throughout their time with us, encouraging them to build confidence, friendships, independence and valuable life skills.
We are also committed to supporting busy parents and carers. Alongside school collections, we can, where arranged, collect children following extracurricular activities, helping families manage different schedules and finishing times.
After more than a decade of working with young people, our passion remains the same: to provide safe, supportive and enjoyable after-school experiences where every child feels valued and has opportunities to thrive.

Our vision is to inspire children and young people to thrive through safe, inclusive and stimulating after-school experiences that encourage creativity, activity, independence, friendship and personal development within their local community.

Mission

Our mission is to provide high-quality, flexible out-of-school care that supports parents and carers in balancing work and family life. We provide children and young people aged 3–16 with a diverse range of enriching activities and community-based experiences, giving them opportunities to play, explore, socialise, learn and develop. Through school and agreed extracurricular activity collections, supportive care and varied experiences across suitable community settings, we aim to make children's time outside school safe, enjoyable and rewarding.
